Hey Everybody,
You may have heard lately that we are going through some changes. This is true. One of The Buddhahood’s original percussion players – Peet Mugnolo will now be playing on the drum kit. We will all miss our awesome and powerful drummer John Payton but hopefully he will play again with The Buddhahood this year or after. Drew Bellavia is also no longer with The Buddhahood but you will be sure to see him in the Rochester Music scene too. We thank them both for years of hard work, fun, laughs, tears and dedication.
The Buddhahood has gone through many incarnations since 1995 when Tony Cavagnaro, Evan Stuckless, Rick Whitney, Paul Mastriani, Matt Erhardt and Peet Mugnolo formed from an earlier “Rub The Buddha.” Every rebirth feels awkward at first but love and life must go on. Along with tears and regret from holding on these last two years, we are also very excited and enthusiastic about the creativity moving forward and have begun the work for many gigs and albums to come.
We will be performing at Water Street Music Hall on Saturday, May 16th. Doors open at 8:00PM. The show will start at 9:00PM with the “Grift” and “Thousands of one.” The Buddhahood will perform around 11:30PM. Tickets are available at Ticket Master, Record Archive and Aaron’s Alley (Monroe Ave) ages 16+. Advance tickets are $10 which you can also get from Buddhahood members.
Thanks Again and see you at the show!

Hey friends,
Thanks so much for checking out the show at Waterstreet w/ The buddhahood and Giant Panda the other night. We got to try out a bunch of new tunes on you – thanks for your input.
